I like simple sauces like this Mabo Tofu Sauce. This brand comes with three level of chilli (hotness). There is another brand that is more Si-chuan style (more chilli taste). This sauce can easily be found at Asian Supermarket.

Yes, this is a Japanese brand although it says "Chinese".
